You dream about getting your real estate license. You imagine the amazing opportunity, spending your days showing and selling homes and making an excellent income. You take the course & get your license. Full of ambition and hope, you decide on a brokerage and get plugged in. The Broker trains you on legal pitfalls, how to write a contract and how to process a transaction. If you're lucky, you learn one or two ways to generate business. The world is at your finger tips. But then...

Nothing.

Nothing happens. There is no business. The phone is not ringing with clients asking you to represent them. You learned how to write a contract and process a transaction, but there are no contracts or processing to be done. Processing a transaction doesn't bring in the money. You must now figure out how to create business on top of learning the business of real estate.

 

What do you do? You reach out to other Agents for help, but few (if any) will teach you the insider tricks of the business for fear that you'll become competition. You decide that if you're going to be successful, you must find someone experienced to learn from. You join a "team". Your hope is restored. Finally you will learn this business.

You receive minimal, if any, training and on-boarding. You struggle to convert and close low quality leads and become a gofer for the team leader, rather than a becoming a business owner and a BOSS in your OWN right. Your team leader won't teach you how to build a business. He/She is only concerned with one thing: His own clients, sales, pocket, and reputation.  You learn  on your own or with minimal instruction how to service buyers at a basic level, and that's where your training ends. If you learn too much, you'll become competition for him/ her. You expected the bread (learning how to build a successful career), but they only ever give you the crumbs (low quality, unqualified buyer leads).

Most new Agents believe that being in real estate, they can work part time and create a successful business. That is not true. When dealing with the largest investments of our clients, you must be an EXPERT. Experts become experts through time and experience. Part time Agents needn't apply.

We will bring you to the water, but you must do the drinking. We will not drink for you. We'll train and coach you to become a successful Agent and a successful business owner, but YOU must take the reins and commit to growth and results.

 

You have major phone reluctance.

A majority of your most important work is done over the phone- lead generation, negotiation, and problem solving. If you have phone reluctance, you will not make it at Rockstar.

DO I NEED A REAL ESTATE LICENSE?

Yes you must be licensed for The Rockstar Apprenticeship. CLICK HERE for a list of NJ real estate schools. 

 

WILL I WORK REMOTELY OR IN OFFICE?

We are a results- driven team, so you can absolutely work remotely if you choose, so long as metrics and targets are being hit. Each workday will consist of 3 hours of phone calls minimum. Buyer consultations and listing appointments can be done remotely during the Covid- 19 pandemic. Showing appointments will be in-person. Keller Williams Realty offices also have plug and play workspace.
 

WILL I GET PAID AS A ROCKSTAR APPRENTICE?

Can you? Absolutely. Will you? Possibly.

Real Estate Agents are paid on a commission-basis. We recommend that you have 6 months of cash reserves to carry you through, while you are learning the business. Pretend you're in real estate college, because you are. In order to generate business, you must gain skill in connecting, converting, and closing. This takes time and commitment to learn to do at a high level. Once you are able to convert your first few clients to sales, it will take 30-45 days to close. You get paid after closing. If you are plugging in and following direction, you should be able to make at least 1-2 commissions in that time. It's possible that you will still hit standards and not yet have made any commissions.

WHAT ARE THE COMMISSION SPLITS

Our commission splits are divided into 2 categories and are non-negotiable, due to our unparalleled value proposition.

If you generate the client lead, it is a 50% split between you and the team.

If Rockstar generates the client lead on your behalf, it is a 60% - 40% split (you receive 40%)

SHOULD I MAKE MY DECISION, BASED ON COMMISSION PERCENTAGE?

Looking at commission splits is what  low level sales people do. Looking at NET PROFIT is what high level sales Agents, bosses, and BUSINESS OWNERS do. We are building your business with you, not trying to get a few commissions to get by on.

 

Building your business with a team is a completely different model than being a real estate sales agent on your own. When you are on a team, you are highly leveraged, with support on every side, including  not certainly not limited to financially (see our value proposition- it would cost you $188k per year to reproduce what we provide).  With Rockstar. you get high level operational support, high level marketing, high level media, high level coaching and training, and all of the resources you could possibly need at your fingertips. 

You simply cannot compare apples to apples if you are focusing on commission splits, because you don't have the leverage at Rockstar that you have, when you are a solo agent. You can't achieve success as quickly without leverage. You're on your own and you must figure it all out on your own. You need money, natural talent, expertise, and lots of time to reach the level that we can take you to in 3 years or less with significantly less stress than trying to figure it out on your own. In the end, you will make significantly more money with Rockstar with at ANY OTHER BROKERAGE OR TEAM and no brokerage or team will produce return clients and a long term successful business for you. We will. So commission splits are for the birds. Leave the crumbs at the door and let's build you an empire.

No other real estate office or team is as highly leveraged for the aspiring Agent as Rockstar is.

HOW LONG IS THE APPRENTICESHIP?

We consider the apprenticeship 6 months. After 6 months if benchmarks are hit and you are truly a cultural fit, you will be given a contract for Rockstar Team Business Partnership!

 

DOES AN APPRENTICESHIP MEAN I AM NOT A REALTOR®?

No it doesn't! We call it an apprenticeship, because of the level of training and coaching that you will receive. It is an intensive bootcamp for high driving women, who want to be high performers in the real estate industry. You are learning, but you are able to sell as a licensed REALTOR®.

AM I AUTOMATICALLY ON THE TEAM IF I GET ACCEPTED?

No ma'am. Our screening process is intense. We use a career visioning process and model designed  by Keller Williams Realty Inc. We are not recruiting for numbers. We dig deep to make sure you are the right fit, as we are not building a school, we are building a team for longterm, so we are not recruiting for NUMBERS. We are recruiting for talent. During the first 30, 60, and 90 days, we take you through a structured onboarding and training process. During that time, we expect each apprentice to hit our team standard benchmarks. Every 30 days, we will have a meeting called red light-green light to assess whether we are on target or not. If we are not, we will tell you on the spot.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T HIT MY 30, 60 OR 90 DAY STANDARDS?

As a high performing team, we expect each team member to show up and perform at 100%. Our standards are achievable by Rockstar Talent. If standards are not met, we will be forced to begin off-boarding procedures at our red light green light meeting. It is not personal. If you are unable to meet the easiest standards, then you will be unable to meet higher standards, meaning it won't be a match for either you or The Team. 

WHAT IF I PAY THE MONEY TO GET LICENSED & I'M NOT A FIT?

This absolutely can happen and has happened in the past. This is why we provide lots of material to review before you apply.  We also dig deep into references, resumes, and purposeful interviews to assess whether or not you are a fit. We don't want to waste our time or your's. If you are not licensed yet, apply first! We will allow you to go through the process unlicensed to see if it is a fit before you make the jump; however there is a chance that when push comes to shove, you won't show up to do the work you must do in order to succeed in your career with Rockstar.  Your success is not up to us. It is up to YOU.

We do not offer scholarships for real estate school or pay for any fees.

 

We also take no responsibility for wasted money if you do not show up to do the work. The work automatically yields results, so  if you show up, you will succeed. The better question is: ARE YOU BOSSY ENOUGH TO GAMBLE ON YOURSELF and then show up day after day to become a Boss?

I'M AN ESTABLISHED AGENT, BUT I NEED ROCKSTAR LEVERAGE. AM I A CANDIDATE FOR ROCKSTARDOM?

 

Absolutely! While the apprenticeship is designed for new Agents, we are always looking to add talent to our team. Rockstar is fully equipped to connect, support, and empower existing agents up to 100 units per year. High level coaching, accountability, administrative support, marketing and media, and so much more. 

CAN I BRING MY TEAM UNDER ROCKSTAR?

At this time, we are not equipped to take on mega teams, but  we are currently building out our Rockstar Ops department and we will be offering that service soon!
