Margate Memorials Lifeguard Races

The Margate World War II Memorial Lifeguard Races (Margate Memorials) are a favorite among lifeguards, locals and athletes of all ages. Although the races take place at Decatur Avenue and the beach, the spectators span 2 (or more) blocks. It’s one of the few events in which you can see beach patrols
